The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, March 1, 2014, of Leith Andrews, beloved husband of Ann (nee Thompson), of Brookfield, age 84.
Leith was the loving father of Kevin (Susan), Kellie (Robbie Larter) and Korby; and grandfather of Ashley, Conner, Keiran and Crosby Andrews; and Carrie, Ryan and Jenna Larter. He is also survived by her his sister-in-law, Janice Matthews; brother-in-law, John Thompson (Twila); nephews, Keith Coles (Joyce), Fred Andrews (Daphne) and Errol Andrews; and nieces, Doreen Andrews and Judy Burgoyne (Mike Landry).
Leith was predeceased by his parents, Ashford and Jennie (Nunn) Andrews; brothers, Raymond (Tillie) and Ivan (Lillian); sister, Marjorie Coles (Fred); and nephew, Wayne Andrews.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Thursday, March 6, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prince of Wales Lodge #18, Wheatley River, will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Thursday, March 6, at 9 p.m. (Please take note of time change). The funeral service will be held at Central Queens United Church, Hunter River, on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. Interment later in Greenvale Cemetery.
