Passed peacefully away on February 28, 2014 at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville, where he spent the last two and half years under the wonderful and supportive care of the Nurses, Doctors and other Staff, Don Layden of Port Blandford aged 78 years. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Hannah of 38 years, step-sons; Gorman Temple (Marilyn), Raymond Temple (Edna), Robert Temple, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, sisters; Rita (Gordon), Marg (Eric), brothers; Henry, George (Lois) and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville Sunday, March 2, 2014 and Monday, March 3, 2014, and United Church, Port Blandford on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Funeral Service took place 2 pm Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at United Church, Port Blandford with interment at United Cemetery, Port Blandford. In his memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
