HUBBARD, John (Jack) E. - Sept. 23, 1938 - Feb. 5, 2014. Born in Yarmouth, NS. Survived by his loving wife Sheila, children Matt (Sharon), Mike and Andrea. Grandchildren Cory, Brendan, Cody and Jayme. Siblings Alma, Nancy, Tom, Carol, Harvey, Dave and Theresa. Proud member of the S.I.U., he worked for Cates Tugs for 33 years. Founding member and president of the North Shore Boys Softball (NORSSA) league for many years. A celebration of life was held on Saturday March 1, at 2 pm at the Lynn Valley Rec. Center, 3590 Mountain Hwy., North Vancouver. A service was also held in Yarmouth and Palm Springs his winter home.
