FANJOY, ROBERTA LAURA (nee GOOD) - July 19, 1944 - February 27, 2014 - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing away of Roberta Laura Fanjoy, 69, on Thursday, February 27, at St. Joseph Hospital in Elliot Lake. Beloved wife and companion of Dennis A. Fanjoy, loving mother of the late Kevin (Lisa) and Jeff (Barb). Cherished and very special grandmother of Michelle, Kyle and Kevin. Roberta is survived by her sister Joyce (Randy) Skinner, numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A longtime resident of our community, an outdoor person who enjoyed her camping; Roberta will truly be missed by many.
A memorial gathering will be held Monday from 1:00pm till service at 2:30pm at Gentle Shepherd Church (3 Ottawa Ave.) March 3rd, with Reverend Bob Davies officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
