GIBSON, MURRAY JAMES - It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Murray J. Gibson, of Penniac, NB sadly announce his passing at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on March 2, 2014. Born in Fredericton, NB on March 1, 1935, he was the son of the late Frederick and Christina (Stewart) Gibson. Murray was Baptist by faith. He was employed as a Construction Worker with various companies and a Woods Worker for many years. Survived by his son Theodore Michael “Teddy” Gibson of Penniac; daughter Karen Stark (Paul) of Burton; mother of his children Sharon Gibson of Oromocto; a sister Zella Elliott (Fenton) of Penniac; several cousins and one nephew.
Visitation will take place at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held from the Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Penniac United Cemetery.
