It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather John Charles Cook, on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
John is survived by his loving wife Shirley; daughters, Sandi Cook (Scott MacDermott), Montreal, Joy (Richard) Boyd, Toronto; grandchildren, Charlie and Amanda; mother-in-law, Fay; brothers-in-law, Mike (Pat), Toronto, Larry (Arlene), Toronto; sisters-in-law, Marsha (Larry), Montreal, Barbara (Howard), Toronto; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. As John’s wishes there will be no service or committal. The family will be having a get-together, Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the house for anyone who would like to come to pay their respects.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
