LeBLANC, SIMONNE - Simonne LeBlanc, 84, wife of the late Alfred “Freddie” LeBlanc (2008) of Grande-Digue, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Cap de Cocagne on January 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Hébert) Bourque. She is survived by three daughters: Denise LeBlanc (Jean Hébert) of Grande-Digue, Lucette Vienneau (Michel) of Cap-Pelé and Anne Spina (Dominick) of New York; two sisters: Doris Landry of Cap de Cocagne and Jeannine Gallant (late Réginald) of Shediac; two brothers: Alcide Bourque (Elizabeth) and Adrien Bourque both of Cap de Cocagne; a sister in-law, Thérèse Bourque of Shediac; four grandchildren: Karine, Krystal, Nathalie and Jeremy, many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by a brother, Lorenzo Bourque.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shédiac (532-3297) Friday, March 7, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, 416, Route 530, Grande-Digue, on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Simonne, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac (532-3297).
