Peacefully, at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, of Rachel Emily Ready (nee Collings) of Charlottetown, age 82 years.
Beloved mother of Gary (Marian) and David. Grandmother of Matthew, Sarah, Stephanie, Shaun and Jenna Rae Ready. Sister of Derrell (Gertie) and Wendell (Nancy). Also survived by daughter-in-law, Julie Ambrose.
Predeceased by her father, John Collings, of Sturgeon and mother, Priscilla MacCallum, of Cambridge; husband, Gerald; brothers, Carl, Barry, Edison and Stanley.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date at Crossroads Christian Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pat and the Elephant. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
