It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Maxine Gardiner announce her passing surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, Nova Scotia in her 74th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Darren; daughter Charlene; brothers: Allen, Wilbur, Jim and Eric; sisters: Mildred and Hilda, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
