Age 86, passed peacefully away on March 3rd, 2014 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn her devoted husband of 60 years, John, and her children Bob (special friend Lesley) and Cathy Dawe (Wayne) and her two adoring grandchildren Lauren and Jonathan Dawe. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary and her dear brother Mark. Eileen is survived by her sisters Jessie Taylor, Berdina Jewer (Bill), Betty Spurrell and brothers Fred (Eleanor), Cyril (Georgie), Gordon (Betty-Lou) and very special Aunt, Marjorie Miller, as well as a large circle of dear friends and relatives. At Eileen's request, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday, March 7th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday March 8th from noon to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 at 2:00p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road.
