HOPE, ROSE M. - 1954 - 2014 - Rose Hope of Riverview passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Rita (Chevarie) and the late Oscar Léger. Rose cherished time with family and friends. She enjoyed swimming at the beach or in her sister’s pool and especially loved colouring and watching movies with her grandchildren. Rose will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Bernie; sons, Bernie (Renee) of Charlottetown, PE; Wayne (Sarah) of Riverview; her treasured grandchildren, MacKenzie and Jack; mother, Rita of Moncton; sisters, Fernande (Gilles) Goguen of Grand Digue; Della (Frankie) Doiron of Dieppe; Velma (Bruce) Twohig of Dieppe; Murielle (Paul) Thibodeau of Dieppe; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Rose was predeceased by sisters, Rachel (Robert) LeBlanc and Monique Léger.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Sunday from 2 to 4pm. A service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1pm.
