Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Palliative Care Unit, Prince Edward Home, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, of Mr. Donald U. Connors of Charlottetown, age 67 years.
Beloved husband of Rosalie (nee Murphy) Connors and loving father of Erin (Mark) Costello and Kellie Connors (Derek Dunn). He is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Cohen and Samuel Dunn and Devon and Gwen Costello; brother and sisters, Corinne “Cokie” Hayes, Cheryl Callaghan, Carol (Alfred) Condon and Terry Connors; brother and sisters-in-law, Alan “Paddy” (Patti) Murphy, Helen McAleer, Judy Murphy; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Kathleen (nee Darte) Connors; brother, Richard Connors; sister, Janet Connors; brothers-in-law, Eugene “Euddie” Hayes, Dr. Harry Callaghan and Allison McAleer.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Prince Edward Home or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. Visiting hours Monday 6-9 p.m.
