Theresa ‘Terry’ Walsh, formerly of Kennedy Avenue and Stuart Street, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, where she was a resident for the past 5 ½ years.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Mary (MacInnis) Green and the late Eugene Grazel.
Terry worked in the General Insurance Adjustment business with her husband Vern for many years before retiring after the sale of their company.
She is survived by her husband Vernon and sister Margaret MacKenzie of Whycocomagh; nieces Terry and Carol; nephews Gary and Glenn; by her special grandniece Lindsay, the daughter she never had and many cousins, with special thanks to Lou and Kaye. Also thank you to all the staff on Irish Cove, Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, who took such wonderful care of Terry.
There will be no visitation for the late Mrs. Walsh. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations in Terry’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
