Edna Bustard
BUSTARD, EDNA - Surrounded by her loving family, Edna Nora Viola Bustard, wife of 43 years to the late Pastor William Bustard, peacefully went to Heaven to meet her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Edna was born on October 2, 1942 in Carrolls Crossing, New Brunswick to the late Melvin and Hilda (Arbeau) Price. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her three brothers; Edward, Malcom and Melvin Price and granddaughter, Rosanne Krystle Elizabeth Bustard. Edna was very devoted to her faith, for many years she and her husband William shared the roles of being pastors at the First Revival Temple. She was a very caring member of our community, she volunteered many years at the Rescue Centre and always took the good deed in providing help towards anyone that was in need. When asked, Edna would tell you that her family was always number one in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid traveller. Edna was a cherished mother to all of her children, 10 sons; Michael, Gerald (Gail), Frederick (Amanda), Jeffrey, Philip (Tracey) all of Saint John, James (Stacey) of Fredericton, Stephen (Patricia) of Toronto, Ontario, Nathan (Heidi) of Alberta, Dwayne of Hamilton, Ontario, Mark of Moncton, and one daughter; Elizabeth Bumpus (Gary) of Halifax, NS. Edna is also survived by her two brothers; Harold Price (Marie) of Grand Manan, NB and Richard of Saint John. She was also survived by her four sisters; Ellamae Hanley (Clifford) of Back Bay NB, Darlene Simpson (Everett) of Miramichi, NB, Marilyn Price and Deloris Price both of Ontario. Edna was the loving grandmother to 47 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting on Monday, March 10th and Tuesday, March 11th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from Saint John Mission Point Church, 130 Mark Drive, at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the funeral service in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
