Peacefully, with her family by her side, in Orangburg, S.C., on Saturday, March 8, 2014, of Mrs. R. Lorraine (nee Gillan) Keefe, formerly of Peake’s Road, P.E.I., age 71 years.
Beloved wife of Clifford Keefe for 50 years. She is survived by her children Clifford (Jenene) Keefe, Wendy (Samuel) Postach, Michelle Keefe, Melissa (Gary) Culler and Debbie Keefe (Scott Cape); 11 grandchildren (her grand babies) Bryson and Bethany Keefe, Ella Rose and Heidi Postach, Ashley and Cory Clark, Holden and Ethan Culler, Sabrina Rider, Cindel and Wilson Cape; 1 great-grandchild, Mary Jane Cape-Turner. Also fondly remembered by her sisters, brothers and in-laws, Mary MacDonald, Catherine MacDonald, Basil (Frances) Gillan, Patricia Gillan, all of Mass., Ernest Gillan, N.H., Barney Gillan, Sr. Gertrude Gillan, CSM, Anne (Leonard) Fitzpatrick, Mary J. Gillan (Martin Kelly), Noreen Gillan, Marjorie Gillan, Lorraine Gillan, all of P.E.I.; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Agnes (nee Duffy) Gillan; brothers, sisters and in-laws, Joe (Marion) Gillan, Marguerite (Ale) Stewart, Mark and twin sister Marion Gillan, John (Rita) Gillan, Ralph (Caroline) Gillan, Frank (Peggy) Gillan, James Gillan, Phillip Gillan, Gertrude Gillan, Winnifred Gillan, Hugh “Biff” MacDonald and Lloyd MacDonald.
Resting at Dukes Harley Funeral Home, Orangburg, S.C. Visiting hours were held on Sunday 6-8 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014, at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Orangburg, S.C., at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
