It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jessie Chambers of Blue Cove, NL (Aug. 15, 1943 - Mach 5, 2014) announce her passing on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 70 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Wilfred; children Trixie (Gerald) Chambers, Blue Cove, Nada Chambers, Blue Cove and Keith (Lan Mee) Chambers, Markham, Ontario; grandchildren Donald Jr., Matthew and Mee-Ya; brothers Lambert Noseworthy, John Noseworthy and Aubrey Noseworthy; sisters Maggie Hillyard and Effie Kasell; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation took place at the Anglican Church of the Advent in Plum Point on Saturday and Sunday from where a family service was held on Sunday at 8 p.m. and the funeral on Monday, March 10 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Pond Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted or donations made be made to the Church of the Advent Alter Guild. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.
