WISTED, CHRISTA LEE (CAMERON) – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Christa Lee (Cameron) Wisted which occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, March 3rd, 2014. Born 1970, in Saint John, she was the daughter of Eugene and Judy Cameron. Christa loved music and enjoyed bowling and karaoke. She especially loved playing bingo and keeping in touch with friends and family over Facebook. Besides her parents, Christa is survived by her two children Angela Cameron and Brianna Hoyt of Saint John and her husband Tom Wisted; sisters Tammy LaVorgna (Daryl) of Saint John, Shelly Mitchell (Carl) of Saint John, Cheryl McConkey (Brock) of Saint John, Sharon Letourneau (Mike) of Sussex; godson Peter Cameron; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Christa was predeceased by her brother Bob Cameron.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a memorial service will take place from St. Mary’s St. Bartholomew church on Saturday, March 15th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
