Romeo J. Tremblay of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday March 9, 2014 at Pioneers Lodge. Romeo was a hard working man who loved the land and worked as a farmer all his life. He enjoyed a good game of cards, curling and playing ball. He could accomplish any task, the harder the better. Romeo will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Yolande of 60 years and his children; Michael (Rhonda) Tremblay, Roxanne (Allan) Cossette, Lisa (Cliff) Froehlich; grandchildren: Michael (Jen Sipari) Tremblay Jr., Stephanie Tremblay (Chris), Jared Tremblay, Alyssa (Brian) Gingell, Devon (Melissa) Cossette, Ami Froehlich (Rich), Neil (Whitney) Froehlich, Ryan Froehlich (Taylor); great-grandchildren Hunter, Kadin, Ava, Mason, Maude, and Jordyn. Romeo was the sixth of ten children and is survived by one brother and one sister. The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneers Lodge for their care and compassion. An Evening Prayer Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday March 13, at 7:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St.Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave. N.W., on Friday March 14, 2014 at 10:00 am. Reverend Jouquin Ibay will conduct the Mass. Family memorialization will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, 2345 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, M4P 2E5, or to the Knights of Columbus Charity Appeal, c/o St.Joseph’s Church, would be appreciated.
