Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 of Theresa I. Briand of Charlottetown and formerly of Souris, age 82 years.
Dear mother of Stephen (Rowena) and their children, and David and his son Christopher. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Anne Julien, and numerous nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Peter Barney and Mary MacDonald; her sisters, Eileen Gallant, Ruth Poole; and brothers, Leo and Claude MacDonald.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Veale, Dr. Hunt and staff of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the wonderful care given to Theresa.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. By request there will be no visiting hours. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 22, from St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Theresa may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
