The family of Billy MacArthur would like to thank all of the wonderful friends and relatives for their support during Billy’s bereavement. To all those who brought food, Mass cards, and donations, they were gratefully appreciated. Fr. Boudreau, thank you for your consoling words and spending time listening to our stories about Billy. To the Army and Navy Air Force, New Waterford, Royal Canadian Legion New Waterford and the Cape Breton Naval Vets we appreciated the wonderful send off that you gave your fellow member. Thank you to the pallbearers and Billy’s Boys - Bill, Ken, Don, James, Paul and David and to those who participated in the Offertory – Billy’s grandchildren who loved Poppy very much – Shane, Ken, Dillon, Kayleigh, Sean, Savannah, Meghan, Rhiannon and Jack, and all the great grandchildren, Rebecca, Emma, Autumn, Lyla and Isaac. Thanks to the readers - Jane Summerell, Kathy MacArthur, Bhreagh MacArthur and Sherri MacArthur and for the beautiful music by St. Joseph’s Ladies Choir. The lunch provided by CWL was delicious as always, thank you. To Ken and Basil MacGillivary - you are wonderful, caring people in our time of need. A special thank you to those who provided care to Billy during his illness - VON, Palliative Care, the Cape Breton District Health Hospitals, the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital and Dr. David Ley.
