It is with great sadness that we inform you of the tragic passing of Ruth on Friday, March 7th, 2014 at Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, in the presence of loving sister, Charlotte, and God daughter, Stephanie. Predeceased by brothers Abel and Michael, sister Biatus, son Geoffery, father Nathan, brother-in-law Fred, and husband, Rick Lambe. Left to mourn: mother Tama; siblings Jerry, Charlotte, Tom (Rosemarie), Bobby, Matilda (Dave), Elizabeth (Cliff), Frances (late Angela); numerous nieces and nephews; son Jason, step-children Rich and Angie; 6 grandchildren; grand-daughter-to-be; great grand-daughter; special family Brian and Linda; special friends Lloyd, Joyce and Stella; staff and members of SJNFC; countless family and friends. Ruth's conscientiousness, kindness, caring, and gentle, generous spirit will be sorely missed. Buried in the Moravian Cemetery at Happy Valley, memorial service in St. John's will follow.
