Suddenly at the Prince County Hospital on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, of Paul Jude McAlduff, age of 66 years, born in Alberton, September 04, 1947. He is survived by his wife Brenda (Gavin), sons Brent (Christa) McAlduff, Summerside, and Alan McAlduff, Alberton. Son of Edward and Priscilla (Shea) McAlduff of Summerside and grandchildren Callie, Bree and Wil McAlduff. He will be sadly missed by his siblings: brother Thomas McAlduff (Bonnie), Darnley; and sisters Faye (Robert) Gavin, Judy (Keith) Broderick, and Susan (Ron) Stanley all of Summerside; mother-in-law Helen (late Atwood) Gavin, North Cape; sister-in-law Marie (Leonard) McPhee, North Cape; brothers-in-law Robert (Faye) Gavin, Summerside; Fred (Barbara) Gavin and Dennis Gavin, North Cape. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral on Monday at 2:00 p.m., from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, a memorial to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Tignish Seniors Homecare Co-op would be gratefully appreciated.
