COMEAU, GÉRARD (1927 - 2014) - SAINT- IGNACE, NB - Gérard Comeau 86, of Villa Providence, formerly of Saint-Ignace passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac on Thursday, March 13,
2014. Born in Saint-Ignace, NB, he was the son of the late Antoine and late Emerise (Barrieau) Comeau. Gérard will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 65 years; Gemma (Vautour) Comeau, his daughter; Denise (Allison), two sons; Adrien (Raymonde), Serge (Daniel). He was a proud grandfather of Ètienne, Michelle, Fernand, Bruno, Nicole and also great-grandfather to; Janie, Julien, Alexane, Mathieu, Samuel and Alain.
He is also survived by one brother; Aurèle, two sisters; Alma (late Edmond) and Alice (late Médor) and one sister-in-law; Alina. Besides his parents, Gérard was predeceased by one infant son Bruno, five brothers;
Sylvain, Alphée, Alyre, Emile, Yvon and three sisters; Marie, Imelda and Diana.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint Louis de Kent with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Monday at 2:00 pm until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 at 4:00 pm, Saint Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Ignace. Donations in Gérard's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family. A special thanks to the personal and staff of La Colombe at the Villa Providence Shediac for the tender, respectful and loving care of our beloved Gérard since 2010.
