Passed away peacefully at St. Patrick's Mercy Home surrounded by the love of her family on March 13, 2014. Alice Tizzard in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years Gordon; brothers Frank and Jim Murphy. Leaving to mourn her sad loss but also to celebrate her life daughters Pamela (Frank Gosse), Yvonne (Roger Halliday) and sons Derrick (Helen) and Chris; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren whom she loved deeply. Beloved companion Alex Martin; special niece Elaine Abbott; special friends Winnie Gosse, Rita Squires and Phoebe Harding and many more relatives and friends, Also her extended family of staff and residents at St. Patrick's. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay on Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Parish. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Janeway Hospital.
