Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Home on Thursday, March 13th, 2014. Patricia Hickey, age 82 years. Predeceased by her husband John (2006); Sons Greg (Ocean Ranger 1982) and Barney (2012); parents Mary and Thomas Roche; brother Alfred; brother-in-law Jack Griffin and sisters-in-law Mary Roche and Mamie (Mary) Roche. Leaving to mourn her children Sharon Hickey (Carol), Paula Nippard, Laura Ciecko (Ken), Wanda Rose (Scott) and John (Charlene); son-in-law Jan Meyers; eight grandchildren Kim Knoll (Mike), Alea and Kendra Ciecko, Jennifer and Michael Rose, Jason, Bradley and April Hickey; great-grandsons Riley and Evan Knoll; sister Magdalene Griffin, brothers Martin and Nicholas; sisters-in-law Sheila Roche and Sheila Colbert; also other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, TORBAY. Visitation on Monday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 19th, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church. Cremation to follow. Special thanks to the staff at the Escasoni 2 North and Hoyles West 1 over the past 5 1/2 years for their kind and compassionate care.
