Collins, Fraser, 68 – Truro

It is with great sadness that the family of Fraser Collins announce his passing at home on March 13, 2014. Born in Stephenville, Nfld. on November 27, 1945, he was a son of the late Herbert and Emmie (Cousins) Collins. Fraser was employed at Crossley Carpet Mill for almost 30 years. He was a long time member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Truro. His passion was preaching to others about the good news of God’s Kingdom. Fraser is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Elaine (DeMings); son, Michael, Truro; daughter, Lisa Collins (Larry), Tatamagouche; three grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony and Quinn. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 2 pm from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 189 Waller Drive, Truro, David Spence officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Truro. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro.
