MCCAVOUR, MARK HERBERT - Unexpectedly at his residence on March 14, 2014, Mr. Mark H. McCavour, husband of Kenda L. (Vail) McCavour, of Lower Greenwich. Born at Saint John on September 21,1960, he was a son of the late Gerald E. and Sadie M. (Melanson) McCavour. Mark was a painter by trade and had worked for Saint John Shipbuilding, Jamac, Kelson & Kelson and Supreme Painting over the years. He loved to carve and paint things as well as being an avid fisherman. He was predeceased by his parents, and one son, Devan Mark McCavour (1991). Mark is survived by his wife Kenda, two sons, M. Travis, and Alex C. both of Saint John, three brothers, Gary and Stewart, and Nelson (Judy McEwen), all of Saint John, and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 634-1701. Visiting will take place on Sunday March 16, 2014 from 2 to 6pm. A Funeral service will be held at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 1:00pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Ext.
