(born August 26, 1920) left us on Saturday, March 15, 2014 to be together with her beloved husband Percival (deceased 1996) into the embrace of God. She was also predeceased by her son Ken, her parents Henry and Maisie Sullivan, and brothers Ken and Gordon. Mourning her loss are her daughters Patsy Osterhout of Augusta, GA and Marilyn Larivee (Gerard) of Slave Lake, AB, sons Percy, Gerard (Patty), Jim (Flo) and Wayne (Gloria) of St. John's, as well as Kevin (Edmonton, AB), daughter-in-law Phyllis Nagle (St. John's), 17 precious grandchildren, 22 even more precious great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her brothers Ches and Ron (Thelma) Sullivan and sisters Mary Ann Bailey (Clifford) and Kay Hardiman (Ches) Buchans, sister-in laws Marion Nagle, Jerrien Nagle & Margaret Nagle of Ontario, Sister Colette Nagle& Anna Wiseman of St John's Also very special friends Jim and Stella King and the other residents of Thomas Estates where Blanche resided for over 20 years. In lieu of flowers Blanche requested donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Teresa's Catholic Church building fund, or to the food bank. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's, on Tuesday March 18 and Wednesday March 19, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday March 20, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Parish, Father Leo English to preside.
