May 22, 1921 - March 15, 2014 - Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home in Clarke's Beach on Saturday, March 15, 2014, Mr. Roy A. Mercer (Retired Teacher) age 92 years of Bay Roberts. Predeceased by his wife Bertha (2008); in-laws Mary (Gordon) Greene, Emmie (Arthur) Boone and Cyril Quinton. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Gerald (Carmen), Marjorie, Jean (Tim), Leland (Joan); grandchildren: Craig (Kerry Lynn), Trevor (Janet), Katie; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Keira, Nyla; sister-in-law Flo Quinton; also nieces and nephews and friends especially Merle Mercer and Ruth Mercer. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts with Visitation on Monday: 2 - 5 PM and 7 - 9 PM; Tuesday: 10 - 12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Bay Roberts. Interment in St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery, Bay Roberts.
