Joseph Francis Dalton, 72 of Pictou, passed away March 15, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Pictou, he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Anderson) Dalton.
Joseph was an avid fisherman and looked forward to his nightly talks with his friends at the wharf.
Joseph is survived by his brother, James (Jean); sister-in-law Mary Dalton; both of Pictou; nephews, Gerald, Timothy and Trevor; nieces, Debbie, Sonya and Marcy.
He was predeceased by brothers George and Edward; former wife and companion, Stella Burke.
Cremation has taken place. By Joseph’s request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service with mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou with Father Everett McDow officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
