
Jack Iwanicki
IWANICKI, JACK - The passing of Jack Alexander Iwanicki of Fredericton, NB occurred at Lakeland, FLA on March 7, 2014. Jack was well known in the academic community as he was a retired professor of Philosophy at the University of New Brunswick. He enjoyed a long successful career and a prosperous and fulfilling retirement. Jack was a seasoned world traveler as well as having cherished his times at “Camp” and “Citrus Woods”. He will be remembered for his warm presence and generosity, having spent his final years actively pursuing his philanthropic interests. Jack’s legacy will live on and be felt by many who will be touched by his generous spirit. Jack was the last surviving member of his immediate family and leaves to mourn many friends, colleagues, and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen (Haworth) Iwanicki in 2011.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Jack Iwanicki will be held in Fredericton at a later date. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Jack A.
