Douville; Yolande Georgianna Douville born August 13, 1935 - March 10, 2014. She is survived by her six children, daughters; Edna (Dave) Evans, Joanne (Wayne) Kushner, Denise Douville, sons; Paul Douville, George (Jeannine) Douville, Allan (Jackie) Douville, and by 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Her 3 siblings Denis (Laurena) Bedard, Marie Bedard and Claire (Marty) Elder, also numerous nieces and nephews. Yolande was predeceased by her loving husband Alphonse of 55 years, her parents Osman and Marie-Anne Bedard, her brother Olier Bedard, and many brothers and sister-in-laws. Yolande attended school at Notre Dame Convent for 10 years. She worked in Gravelbourg and Regina Grey Nuns Hospital unti1 1956, on her return to Ponteix she worked at the post office under postmaster Herman Landry until her marriage to Alphonse Douville on August 28, 1956 in Ponteix, SK. Aside from being a housewife and mother, Yolande worked at the R.M. office with Mrs. Lucienne Roberge, and at the town hall with secretary Bob Tourigny for sometime. Yolande also kept busy with being on the CWL and Ladies of the Parish. Yolande took special interest in bowling, scrabble, crossword puzzles, cards, making puzzles, fishing trips, and crib. A celebration of life for Yolande was held on Thursday March 13, 2014 from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church with father Guy Amedee Ainemon officiating. Organists were Jeannine Douville and Jacqueline Bantle, eulogists were Sheri Schafer, Anita Schultz and Crystal Olsen. Honorary Pallbearers were all who shared in Yolande's life.
