A memorial mass for the late Shirley (Ryan) MacNeil of Toronto, formerly of New Waterford, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 20 in The Parish of Saint Leonard, New Waterford, Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. A reception will follow in St. Leonard Parish Hall, Convent Street.
Our sister Shirley slipped peacefully away to be with the Lord on the morning of February 28, 2014, at the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late Barney and Ida (Tighe) Ryan of New Waterford.
From a family of 16, she is survived by beloved sisters, Marilyn Ryan, Dolores Fraser and Vange Gaudet. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Daniel (Pauline), Steven and Glen (Robin), all of Ontario.
Predeceased by her son, Brad (Sue).
