It is with great sadness that the family of the late Derrick Park announce his tragic passing on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at the age of 65 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 46 years Shirley; his loving mother Ivy; daughter Cathy (Tommy) Payne, son Dean (Kathy) Park; grandchildren: Adam Payne, Kayla & Danica Park; brother Shawn Park; niece Alicia Park; brothers-in-law: David (Heidi) Flight, Herb (Shirley) Flight; nephew Jason and family, nieces: Kimberley & family and Jessica as well as a very special group of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. He was predeceased by father Alexander Park, twin brothers: Benjiman and William, father & mother-in-law Willis and Lucy Flight. Cremation has taken place as per Derrick’s wishes. Family and friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon and from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
