LIRETTE, EMERY - Emery Lirette, 73, of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Born December 7, 1940 in Grand-Barachois, he was the son of the late Lionel and Emilia (LeBlanc) Lirette. Before his retirement, he was employed with Patruel Seafood and was a lobster fisherman. He will be sadly missed by his four sisters: Exelda Boudreau (Noël) and Hélène both of Grand-Barachois, Aurea LeBlanc (Yvon) of Dieppe and Loretta of Shediac; one brother, Louis (Claudette) of Cocagne; many nieces and nephews. Emery was predeceased by one brother, Joseph; one sister, Marie-Anne Brun.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) Visiting hours will be Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the St-Henri parish cemetery. In memory of Emery, a contribution to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association of New Brunswick would be appreciated. Final arrangements have been entrusted with Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac.
