Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on March 20, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by husband Paul; parents: Howard and Francis; brothers: Herbie, Keith and George; sisters: Lois and Dorothy; sister-in-law Marion McCarroll; brothers-in-law Philip McCarroll and Eston Ramsay. Leaving to mourn her loving children: Ann and Bill (Molly Brennan); her adored grandsons: Eamon and Sean Devlin; sisters: Doreen (Lowell Huestis), Evelyn Ramsay, Lynda (Allan Leard); brothers: Byron Bowness (Shirley) and Allison Bowness (Joan); sisters-in-law Revada Bowness and Blanche Bowness also leaving to mourn are a large number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as special friend and guardian angel Pilar Munoz. Marie had a wide circle of friends that crossed generations. The family would also like to say a special thank you to Dr. Dutta and his medical team and the nursing staff of 7 East St Clare's Mercy Hospital for their care and compaction. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Visitation will also be held at Roony Funeral Home, Main Street, Alberton, PEI on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 7-9pm and on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
