Passed into eternal rest at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on March 11, 2014, Mrs. Margaret Ellen Coates of St. Anthony at the age of 90 years. Left to mourn are her son Truman (Shirley); daughter Margaret (Celia) Greenham (Ed); sister Blanche Burt and grandchildren Sherry Simms (Bob), Karin Dunphy (Tom), Truman Greenham, Trudy Wagner (Jim), Judy Burden (Barry), Jackie Roberts (Dominic), and Eddie Greenham, as well as 10 great-grandchildren, special niece Effie Pynn (Albert), and brother-in- law Thomas Coates. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13 at St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony with Rev. Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating. Burial followed the funeral service in the Anglican Community Cemetery in Eddies Cove, Margaret’s original home. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
