STYLES, GEORGIA GLADYS "GG" - The passing of Georgia Gladys "GG" (McElroy) Styles, occurred on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Thomas Hall, Parkland Shannex, Fredericton N.B. Born July 1921 in Benton, NB she was the daughter of the late George William McElroy and Eva (Mills) McElroy. Georgia lived her life graciously and with a passion for beauty and creativity as shown through her love of ceramics and decorating. She was a CWAC veteran having been a member of the marching band that travelled throughout Canada and Europe entertaining the troops after WWII. Georgia was predeceased by her husband Edward C. (Ted) Styles; sisters Wanda Campbell and Gaynell Berry; and brother William McElroy. She is survived by her sister Nadine MacEwen of Hamilton, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At GG's request, there will be no visitation, a private graveside service will be held at Dayton Cemetery, Fredericton, NB, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
