Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer Anne Elizabeth Jordan (nee Hollahan) age 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, daughter Mary, son Darren, parents Samuel and Ellen (nee Woodford), brothers Jim and Ron and sister Joan as well as a very special daughter-in-law Marion. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children ;Samuel, Thomas (Margaret), Donna (Harley) Hennessey, Joanne (Donald) Saunders, Roy (Bev) and Greg (Barb), twenty one grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren; brother Steve Hollahan and sisters Mary Bragg and Helen Noftal, nieces and nephews and other relatives. Also leaving to mourn special friends Helen Connolly, Margie Bambrick and Mary Reddy as well as a large circle of acquaintances to numerous to mention. We would like to give special thanks to Bill and Jackie Hutchings of Eastern Medical Supplies, the medical staff of Shea Heights Medical Center and her home care worker Lisa Rideout; your time and generosity was much appreciated. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Funeral mass of Christian Burial to take place on Monday, March 24th from St. John Bosco at 11:30 am with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center.
