August 2, 1928 - March 23, 2014 - Passed peacefully away on Sunday March 23rd, 2014, at the Hoyles Home, Wilson Maxwell Warren of Chapel Arm, aged 85 years. Wilson is predeceased by wife, Margaret (March 13, 2010); parents, Charles and Martha; sisters, Lilias Reid, Agnes Smith, and Nina Andrews; brothers: Harry, Raymond, Norman, and Ernest; mother and father in-law, Robert and Mabel Warren of New Perlican. Wilson leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories and to celebrate his life with thanksgiving are his daughter, Mabel Reid (Lloyd); son, Keith (Cassie); granddaughters, Shannon Davis (Tim), Delia Warren (Vincent Sobalski); great-granddaughters, Addison and Avery Davis; sister, Dorothy Rowe (Max, deceased); brother Charles Warren (Marjorie); sister in-law, Barbara Warren, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wilson Enjoyed a forty year career with Newfoundland Postal Telegraph, Canadian National Telecommunications and Terra Nova Tel retiring in 1985. Resting at St. John the Baptist Church, Chapel Arm, with visitation on Monday March 24th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Tuesday March 25th from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and Wednesday March 26th from 10:00 am until the time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from the St. John the Baptist Church, Chapel Arm at 11:00 am. Internment to follow at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Long Harbour Road. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations in Wilson's memory may be made to the St. John the Baptist Cemetery Memorial Fund.
