IRVING, CYNTHIA JUNE ANNE - It is with great sadness the family of Cynthia June Anne Irving announce her sudden passing which occurred on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Born 1968 in Saint John she was the daughter of John and Faye (Cogswell) Thorne. Cindy was an amazing hardworking mother to four as well as a mother figure to many others. She was very proud of her newest title, Nanny, and loved her Buddy Orlando very much. Family meant the world to her. Cindy worked as a Pharmacy Technician for the Milledgeville Superstore. She loved working alongside her fellow “loos” as their Super Tech. Everyone enjoyed her quirky sense of humour, she had a gift of turning the negative into the positive making everything better. She is survived by her children Brandon Irving, Bria Irving, Paula Irving and Mya Irving; grandson Orlando Simon-Irving; brothers Cory Thorne (Katrina) and Troy Thorne (Cindy); sister Katelyn Thorne (Steve); several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday, March 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Forest Hills Baptist Church on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. Remembrances in memory of Cindy made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
