Passed away in the Ottawa Heart Institute Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the age of 66 years.
Beloved husband of Catherine Stevenson-Hurtubise. Much-loved stepfather of Sheila Phelan of Arnprior and Linda Nyman of Barrhaven. Dear father of Lynn Hurtubise of Aylmer. Cherished grandfather of Catherine and Mitchell and Maddy and Shane. Dear brother of Suzanne Houle (late Robert). Dearly-loved brother-in-law of Ireta and Norman Thompson of Bunbury, P.E.I., Rev. Gordon and Helen Stevenson, Brandon, Man., and Joan Bernard (late George) of Hunter River, P.E.I. Will be missed by nephew, Sylvain, and niece, Tanya (Claude Menard). Son of the late Fernand Hurtubise and Fleurette Seguin.
Andre held a great love for the Maritimes. He had a passion for the great outdoors, his beloved motorbike, boating and singing. He had a wonderful voice and recorded his own music and enjoyed Karaoke. He loved his family and grandchildren dearly and had a special place in his heart for animals of every kind.
Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 2-3 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the Boyce Chapel. Cremation to take place. Memorial service and interment to take place at Pleasant Valley United Church Cemetery, Prince Edward Island, later this summer.
