The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home, Charlottetown on March 23rd, 2014 of Eileen McNamara of Summerside, aged 91 years. Eileen was born April 20, 1922; the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Bolger) Toole of the Appin Road, PEI. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Joseph McNamara of Newark, New Jersey. Eileen is survived by her step-son Joseph (Ellen) McNamara of Leonardo, New Jersey as well as her two grandsons: Christopher and Ryan. Eileen is also survived by brother-in law Sam Fullerton of Moncton, N.B; Roddie MacDonald of Sackville, N.S.; and Julia Bell of Charlottetown, PEI. Eileen was predeceased by brothers Charles (Joy), Theodore, Arnold, Stephen (Shirley), David in infancy, and Clarence (Julia) Toole; as well as sisters Marion (Allan) Hagen, Ella (Patrick) Murray, Alice (Maurice) McQuaid, Viola (Sam) Fullerton, and Margaret (Roddie) MacDonald. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown until Friday morning at 9:15, then to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Kelly’s Cross for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Visitation Thursday, March 27th, from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment later in the church cemetery.
