The death occurred peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 of Kenneth William MacLeod of East Royalty, P.E.I., and formerly of Murray River, P.E.I., age 79 years.
Cherished husband of Edythe (nee LeLacheur). Dear father of Alan (deceased), David, John (Cathy) and Robert (Lana) MacLeod and Jean MacLeod-Sanderson. Granddad is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren. Beloved brother of Alan (Peg) MacLeod of Summerside, P.E.I. Brother-in-law of Ralph LeLacheur (Ethel) and Lorraine LeLacheur. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, William and Marie (nee Ferguson) MacLeod of Murray River, P.E.I.; his sisters and their husbands, Leila and Lloyd Tuttle (Richmond, Texas) and Zelda and Pete MacNevin (Murray River, P.E.I.); and his brother, Lowell. Also predeceased by his brother-in-law, Keith LeLacheur, and by his sister-in-law, Beth Graham.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Murray River Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 6-9 p.m.
