GAUTREAU, LOUIS - Louis Gautreau of Mazerolle Special Care Home, Dieppe (formerly of Memramcook) passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at the age of 64. Born on December 4, 1949 in Pre-D’en-Haut, he was the son of the late Herve Gautreau and the late Domethilde LeBlanc. He was a roofer for Boudreau Sheet Metal. He was an avid baseball player for the Memramcook Braves (fastball league) and was one of the founding members of the Valley League (hockey). He is survived by his daughter Vanessa Gautreau (Khalil Ben Turkia) of Dieppe; one son, Vincent Gautreau of Moncton; mother of his children, Rita; two sisters, Marie-Therese (Eric) Hache of Rogersville and Rose-Marie Gautreau of Moncton; four brothers, Raymond (Carmelle), Eugene and Fernand all of Moncton and Victor (Diane) of Memramcook and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Bernadette.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Friday, March 28 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
