Amon, Dayle Eveline, 83, Truro, and formerly of Great Village, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2014. Born April 4th, 1930 in Fraserville, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Leona (Crossman) Bowden. Dayle was a homemaker, Greenhouse Operator and a Convenience Store Manager. Her interest included bingo, cards, brook fishing, flowers, knitting and quilting.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) and an infant daughter Susan.
She is survived by her children Greg (Sandra), Bernie (Donna), Kathryn (Rob) Dockrey; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Sheila Thompson of Halfway River, Dara Bowden of Truro; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date in Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Amherst. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
