Allen, MaryLynn of Truro and formerly of Hilden. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of MaryLynn on Saturday, March 29, 2014 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Weldon and Mary (McKeen) Allen. MaryLynn was a resident of the Mira Long Term Care Centre where she spent several years.
She is survived by sisters Janet McDowall (Thomas) of Hilden, Joan Allen of Truro; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Cremation will take place with no visitation by family request. A graveside service will take place at a later date in the Hilden Cemetery, Hilden. Donations in memory may be made to the Mira Recreational Department.
