Passed away at her residence on Sunday March 30th, 2014, Jessie Elizabeth (nee Pynn) Taylor age 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Arthur W. Taylor (2010), her parents Thomas and Elizabeth Pynn, brother Mark Pynn, and sister Eileen Moore. Leaving to mourn her brothers: Fred Pynn (Eleanor), Cyril Pynn (Gorgie), and Gordon Pynn (Betty-Lou); sisters: Berdina (William), and Betty (Gerald, deceased); brother-in-law John Moore. Also leaving to mourn many nieces and nephews, especially special niece Shirley Bradley and husband Jim, Long-time friends Pat Ronayne and family and Jim and Rosemary Taylor and family, Beatie Rogers and family. Her caring neighbours Boris, Kim and Alyssa Rose. Also her many friends at the Crows' Nest. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday April 2nd, 2014 and Thursday April 3rd, 2014 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will take from The Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Friday April 4th, 2014 at 2pm, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin or the SPCA or a charity of one's choice.
