Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Etobicoke General Hospital, Etobicoke, Ontario, Betty Best, age 72 years. Predeceased by her loving husband, Frank Best (1984); and her parents, William "Bill" and Annie St. John. Leaving to mourn her devoted daughter, Kathy Best-Trubiano and son-in-law James Trubiano, with whom she resided; the apple of her eye - her only grandchild, William Trubiano; her sister, Helen St. John-Martin; her niece and nephew, Karen Martin (Jamie Campbell) and Andrew Martin (Kelly), and their father Dave Martin; her special friend Cynthia Rosales; a large circle of extended family, friends and neighbours, as well as her church family at St. David's Presbyterian. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, April 4, from 12-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral service will be held from St. David's Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Avenue, on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 2:30pm, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
