Gordon Blacklock
BLACKLOCK, GORDON DAVID - Gordon D. Blacklock, 74, of Moncton and formerly of Saint John, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday morning, April 2, 2014. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Frederick and Louella (Falcon) Blacklock. Gordon was retired from the CNR, with 39 years’ service. He was a member of the CNR Pensioners Association and enjoyed working around his yard and spending time with his family and friends. Gordon will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Norma (Garnett) Blacklock; children, Kathryn Sentner (Roger) of Moncton, Carolyn MacNeil (Stuart) of Moncton and Gordon Anthony Blacklock (Amanda) of Moncton; grandchildren, Erin and Zachary MacNeil; brother, Fred Blacklock (Ruth) of Moncton and sister, Eleanor Leggett of Saint John; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and his four legged family members, Meme, Buster, Bailey, Simba and Harley.
Visitation to be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday and Friday, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Gordon will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 am with Rev. Christine MacLeod officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment to be held in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John at a later date.
